Education Ministry Announces Scholarship Program for Underprivileged Students

Glimpse: A step toward equal education opportunities.

The Education Ministry has launched a nationwide scholarship program aimed at helping financially disadvantaged students pursue higher studies. The initiative will provide full tuition coverage, living expenses, and mentorship support.

Officials stated that the scholarship will be available for students excelling in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. A special quota will also be allocated for students from rural and economically weaker backgrounds.

Education experts have lauded the initiative, stating that it could help bridge the gap between privileged and underprivileged students. The first batch of scholarships is expected to be awarded in the upcoming academic year.
